Hello Reddit!
I'm looking for something a little different than most posts here right now. I'm looking for someone to hang out with maybe once or twice a month downtown to talk and play chess. A library, park, bar, lounge, art gallery, anywhere. I'll bring the chess set.
A little about me for the sake of knowing if we have anything in common:
- work in the trades
- amateur musician
- like to read (Vonnegut, Pratchett, Twain)
- follow Strongman competitions
- new to chess, playing as much as I can but I don't like playing online.
- love to cook, I'll talk about food all day.
- enjoy hiking, haven't gone this year.
