Looking for someone to go on fun dates with, where we take advantage of all the sights and sounds that the Toronto Summertime has to offer. Mini putting, bowling, wandering, you name it and I'm down for it. There's tons to do in this city but, while I've experienced quite a bit, there's still stuff, like axe throwing and indoor rock climbing, that I haven't even sniffed yet. Foot trails that I haven't explored. Historical monuments and outdoor art fixtures to gaze upon. One of my favorite trips this year was to the Little Canada museum of miniatures at yonge/dundas. I spent forever staring at the intricately laid out scenes that they had on display. I'm hoping to find someone with an inquisitive mind that's always open to trying new things (within reason). I love going to stage shows, plays, musicals, esoteric artistic performances. I may sound artsy fartsy but I really just enjoy anything where people are putting on a display of their talents. I remember going to a stage show down by the harbourfront a few months ago, and in the post-show talk, the director specifically made a point to say that the show was NOT meant to be enjoyed, but to provoke thought. I kinda did an internal side eye because I enjoyed the hell out of their synchronized singing. All the deeper meaning kinda fell by the wayside for me because I got such a kick out of the performance, and that happens often to me.
Hoping to find someone to join me on these little adventures, not just around town, but across the province, and Canada as a whole. I've recently been bitten by the travel bug so, best case scenario, I'd like to meet someone now, build a nice strong relationship, and then start taking little trips together in the new year. Primarily though, I'm looking for someone to date and share good times with. If we happen to grow old together in the process, all the better, but I'm not looking to rush into a nuclear family. Physically, I'm built like Dave Chappelle when he was a starving artist. Thin but in good shape. I don't have any preferences for my partner's body type, just that you have the energy to move around and about. Same with ethnicity; I'm black and not concerned about the ethnicity of my partner. The only real ask I have is that you be 420 friendly to some degree.
I live in Downtown Toronto (yonge/bloor area), work as an office manager at a law firm, and spend most of my play time at home, or third wheeling it with friends. I want to meet someone nice, and fun, and who doesn't take life on this little mud ball of a planet too seriously. We're here for a short time and I intend on it being a good time.
