I've been unemployed for about 2 years. In this time, I haven't been going out or meeting anyone romantically, not seeing a point until I found another job. However, as of late, I'm wondering if I should focus a bit more on building relationships, as my career might remain a work in progress for some time. I've been able to keep in relative shape for my age, and I've had a colorful life which has taught me a fair bit, so it's mostly just being broke that makes me hesitant to try dating. Also, how does one try to meet someone on a budget? At my age, I'm not sure where I'd go to meet people around my age who would be alright with my financial situation.
