Post Body

Edit: this post is voided, just got off phone with 311 Toronto, operator was not an expert on the subject matter, but said that to the best of her understanding: postering to join an online community does not fall under "community issues such as a lost pet, yard sale or cultural and/or religious events that can be placed on utility poles.". .....Operator might not have been completely correct (if someone can confirm) but I give up lol, but still I will post this as inspiration for others to sprout ideas and see what we can do boys.

It's almost holiday season, everybody is looking for warm cuddles. And according to the article below, Toronto is lonely AF. (There's about 34% lonely souls out there, so there's couples waiting to happn)

There is alot of dudes on here, but not really any women. Let's fix that.

Just an idea/shot in the dark(akin to most M4F posts): There's probably one or ten graphics designers here that can produce a print out we can post to light posts and public message boards around universities and other busy areas to promote more F adventuring this sub, even if it's just a lurker it's a win.

But of course we don't want to do anything illegal or to tarnish the reputation of this sub. So I have to include the city's rules for postering straight from the city of Toronto website:

[The City actively patrols and enforces postering on public property.

Only place posters on permitted city kiosks and message boards. Community posters regarding community issues such as a lost pet, yard sale or cultural and/or religious events can be placed on utility poles.](https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/public-notices-bylaws/bylaw-enforcement/graffiti-postering-signs/)

Article

Toronto could be one of the loneliest cities in Canada with nearly four out of 10 residents now reporting having the feeling three or four days a week, a new report suggests.

The Toronto Foundation’s 2023 Vital Signs report, titled ‘The Power of Us,’ found that 37 per cent of Toronto respondents to a wide-ranging survey reported feeling lonely at least three days a week.
