Hey there! Thanks for opening my post.
I'm looking for someone - maybe you? - who's single and would like to go on fun wintry dates. Here's some ideas for things we could do together:
- test out a fresh cup of java from one of the city's many unique vendors
- take-out food from gems like Square Boy or Martino's Pizza & Asian Fusion Kitchen - please help me stop eating Monkey Sushi
- cook something delicious together
- eat baked goods - I like to bake, last thing I made was pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
- crash a film set (too bad they've already filmed season 4 of The Boys)
- prep for the Oscars by marathoning some of the nomination predictions like Killers of the Flower Moon - Oppenheimer's 3 hour runtime is my limit in theatres, waiting till it streams
- find free or almost free comedy shows across the city and have a laugh or two
- check out live music (just not at Scotia, fuck that bag fee)
- board games/card games - we could make Billionaire Banshee work for two people and I have a few two player games in my collection
- video games - I know Nintendo but you'll have to help me get up to speed with a PS or Xbox controller
- take long walks to nowhere in particular
- ice skating? I need new skates lol
In addition and to reiterate the above, I like standup/sketch comedy, music, trivia, bar karaoke, pool, baseball, hockey, movies, board games, Magic the Gathering (although I also played Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh), video games (thinking of finally finishing Breath of the Wild), reading non-fiction (Chandler's book currently), and trying out new take-out food across the city (I was a Yelp Elite in 2021). I'm also open to ideas, so please suggest things you are interested in that aren't listed here.
I'm white, blonde hair, blue eyes, average weight/height. I'm enthusiastic and nerdy. I really dig my job. I enjoy more intimate 1:1 hangouts which is why I'm getting back into dating
I'm looking for
- Active - You don't need to have a six pack or a "normal" BMI, but taking care of yourself is something I find sexy.
- Fairly open age range (25-40) - Plus or minus a few years, but I follow 1/2 your age 7.
- Working full-time - Part-time studies are sexy, but I'd prefer someone who rocks similar hours.
- Not living with family - Siblings are okay, but looking for someone who's got a similar lifestyle.
Not fussy about:
- Where you live - I'm ideally looking for someone who lives near Yonge-Bloor (in any direction) and not too far from the subway line, but a connection is a connection!
- What you do for a living - although I have had good experiences with guys in tech & engineers, I'm happy to expand my horizons.
- Your education - I have a Master's, and I recognize you don't need to have had similar education for us to have fun. It would be hypocritical to be classist when I'm the black sheep who went to uni.
- What gender you're attracted to - don't care as long as you're attracted to me! I've dated a few bi guys.
- Your background - I love meeting visitors and people who immigrated to Toronto. My biggest priority is meeting someone I click with.
If you're interested in meeting up based on this post, I'd love to hear a little about you and what you'd like to do! I appreciate when messages tell me a little about you. I know that can be time-consuming, so I don't mind if if it's a bit of a copy paste from other messages you've sent. I don't need a unique message, just something to get the conversation going!
Lastly, just to clarify, my username's a reference to a favourite band and director. If you've seen the movie, you'll get the mashup.
