Well, summer was fun and eventful. I want to thank everyone who reached out and took the time to have me come by and show them the ropes. I had an absolute blast! Now that I've concluded all of my previous appointments, I am opening up my schedule for new ones.
Before messaging sending me a DM, I do want to mention something:
I am totally fine with leading a group session, but please tell me in advance so I can bring the correct materials. A few seasons ago I arrived assuming it was a one-on-one meeting, and there were 4 other people there. I understand that it can be intimidating to have a stranger come by and I can appreciate that you want to be in a safe environment; I never want to put anyone in an awkward or strange position where they feel unsafe, especially in their own home.
I just need to know if I need to bring more eggs, more flour, more vegetables, etc. Also, it can be intimidating for me if I arrive and there's a lot more people than I had expected. I believe in the importance of transparency and I would like people to extend that courtesy for me. I'm going to a strange environment to meet a person for the first-time too.
But with that out of the way, here's the deets.
1) caucasian male, 35, 6'2. 2) I come over, make pasta by hand and teach you how to do it. 3) during the session I show you how to make a simple sauce. I'm not looking to impress Gordon Ramsay, I just want you to know that it's like to have a handmade, home cooked meal. 4) while we wait for the dough to rest (standard procedure), we hang out, chat, whatever - that's not up to me to decide. 5) once sufficient time has passed, I teach you how to roll it out, cut it properly, and cook it to perfection.
If you want to hang out more, that's an option. If you want to eat and kick me out, that's an option too (although it's kind of rude).
Let me know if dietary restriction or allergies.
I'm flexible on what I make, but unfortunately I don't make anything gluten-free or vegan. I've tried and I don't like it.
Let me know when you're interested in doing it and we can try to arrange something!
