Boy do people love pasta and dang do I like making it! I didn't think I'd have this many responses to something as simple and wholesome as making pasta with someone. Well I'm here for round 3! For those of you who don't know what this is all about, check out my previous posts.
If you're looking for a TL;DR, I come over and I teach you how to make pasta by hand with base ingredients, we cook it and eat it, then hang out for a bit.
If you are interested, I encourage you to read my other posts. I can try to respond to DMs if you have questions but I am a bit slow to get to them sometimes.
There are things I NEED to state prior to discussing this.
1) You need to be able to host the session. This is only a mobile thing. I do not host.
2) I get a lot of messages so if I don't respond, it's not personal - I just can't respond to everyone.
3) I do not make gluten free pasta.
This is not a date or a romantic evening.
The dish you want me to prepare must be discussed in advance. I bring the ingredients and the equipment, so I need to know what to pick up. Please tell me about any dietary restrictions or allergies.
The only thing you require to have is:
a sink (preferably a double sink but a single, standard sink, is totally fine). Ideally a dishwasher on hand.
an easily accessible garbage can (I'm very particular about sorting food waste as I cook)
a counter space for me to place a wood dough board
a stovetop with at least 2 burners
plates and cutlery
Me: 35, male, caucasian, 6'2". I like to joke around and be a menace. I like to teach and I love to mess around and have a bit of fun, so if you're interested - please have a sense of humour.
You: you're interested in learning to make pasta. You have a space with the aforementioned items and equipment. You don't take things too seriously. You have a sense of humor and you're willing to make mistakes. You're not a serial killer, you don't mind someone standing in your personal space, you don't mind being bossed around a bit, and you're a good entertainer and host.
This is available to individuals or groups, but please let me know in advance. I need to know dietary restrictions, what you want to make, and why you think you'd make a good host. I may request photos or verification, especially if it's a group thing.
I'll be making ravioli in the meantime.
