Hello r4r,
Since I had a great deal of success with my first pasta session and I had a significant amount of people reach out to me to inquire about my services, I thought I would offer my second pasta session. For a bit of background on what this is you can read my previous post, but the TL;DR is - I come over, give you a lesson on making handmade pasta by doing it and getting you to do it along with me. I show you how to make the sauce, then you eat it and give feedback. We hang out for a bit, maybe play some boardgames or something.
There are things I NEED to state prior to discussing this.
1) You need to be able to host the session. This is only a mobile thing. I do not host.
2) I get a lot of messages so if I don't respond, it's not personal - I just can't respond to everyone.
3) I do not make gluten free pasta.
This is not a date or a romantic evening, it is strictly business. Pasta business.
The dish you want me to prepare must be discussed in advance. I bring the ingredients and the equipment, so I need to know what to pick up. Please tell me about any dietary restrictions or allergies.
The only thing you require to have is:
a sink (preferably a double sink but a single, standard sink, is totally fine),
an easily accessible garbage can (I'm very particular about sorting food waste as I cook)
a counter space for me to place a wood dough board
a stovetop with at least 2 burners
plates and cutlery
I am 35, caucasian, 6'2", not fit but not fat. I've been cooking for about 25 years and have been making handmade pasta for a while. I am particular about who I pick for the session so please, tell me about yourself. If you want to have a session with more than yourself and you want to bring a friend, please let me know. I may request a picture of yourself just in case you want to harvest my organs or sell me into slavery or something.
You are not required to pay for this with anything other than your time and your company. If you want to have a bit of fun, let me know in advance. I like it when people are direct and forward.
