Despite the blunt belief that infidelity is the result of immoral and over-sexed individuals wanting their cake and eating it too, the reality is far more nuanced.

Never before have our expectations of marriage taken on such epic proportions. We still want everything the traditional family was meant to provide, but we also want our partner to love us, to desire us, to be interested in us. However, the reality is far from it for what seems like the majority. Contained within the small circle of the wedding band are vastly contradictory ideals. Lack of communication, stress, sexual dysfunction, lack of emotional intimacy and fatigue to name a few.

Life has taken it's toll mentally and on my relationship with my spouse. The "marriage of convenience" phase has lasted longer than I care to admit. As most people in my situation can concur, it is not as simple or easy to end a relationship that is over two decades in the making. That being said, in an attempt to find some modicum of intimacy and happiness for myself, I am here seeking a likeminded woman for a discreet long-term (or short-term) relationship based on trust, respect and of course, the hanky-panky.

Hopefully, you are attached as well to understand the level of effort and discretion involved. Preference to people within driving distance of a major highway, those available on weekdays in the daytime, and those who don't get easily spooked if I ask an extra question or two.

I'll keep posting till I find someone real. No, I don't want to pay for sex as others have formerly suggested - just not my thing.
