I’m 38, cis female, from South Central, Pennsylvania. I’ve lived in this area my whole life. I work for a telecom from home doing internet technical support. I have my own place, and I drive. I think independence is important.

I love reading whether it be novels or comic books. I love sci-fi, mystery, suspense, thriller, and horror. The most recent book I read was “All Good People Here” by Ashley Flowers. The last comic was The Sandman by Neil Gaiman. I’m still working on The Sandman, I’m on book 2 (think stuff that came after the first season of the netflix show.) I really enjoyed the Netflix show. Some other comics I love are Saga, Nailbiter, Fables, and pretty much anything Marvel and DC. I own over 1,000 books spread across 7 bookshelves and well the rest of my apartment. There’s just stacks of books in random places. I love the new/old book smell and the feel of the pages on my fingers. I really do not like audio or e-books.

I absolutely love horror movies. Good ones, bad ones, high budget, low budget I really don’t care. I’m looking forward to Hellraiser, Barbarian, Smile, and Prey for the Devil. I have a shudder subscription and have been enjoying the top 101 horror movie moments. I particularly love French horror movies like Martyrs, High Tension, Frontiers, and Inside. Alien and Aliens are two of my most favorite movies, and yes I consider them horror.

I love houseplants and own a ton. They bring light and joy into a world that can be kind of sad. Watering them and taking care of them is almost meditative for me. It’s definitely my happy place as they say.

I love video games. I currently have a ps5, xbox s, and switch. I’ve actually also been playing the PC game Video Horror Society but my computer is very old and barely runs it. I love the Borderlands franchise and I’m really excited for New Tales from the Borderlands. I’m also excited for the upcoming pokemon game.

I love music. All kinds of music. I love specifically the words. It’s like poetry and I love that. I am a big Taylor Swift fan, no shame here. I also love Nine Inch Nails, such a weird combo I know. I will probably talk about Taylor Swift way too much, and the newest song that I’m listening to on repeat, and my favorite song lyric.

I listen to way too many true crime podcasts. I actually wanted to be in the FBI when I was a little kid. Weird I know, but I thought John Douglas was the coolest guy ever and I wanted to be just like him. I still own his books. I like Crime Junkie, Vanished, True Crime Garage, Trace Evidence, Without a Trace among others.

I love coffee and tea and pretty much all food. Chinese, sushi, indian, barbeque, italian. I love cooking and baking. I had hello fresh for a little while and really enjoyed all the new recipes. I like baking chocolate chip cookies.

I would describe myself as kind, caring, affectionate, compassionate, and giving. My love language is physical touch and words of affirmation. Sadly, sometimes these qualities cause me to get taken advantage of. I’m not an angry person, I don’t like to fight, or argue. I value compromise. I’ve been single for 8 years. My last relationship ended because of my illness. I have lipo-lymphedema which has had a pretty drastic effect on my body. I am non-religious. If this is something important in a partner, I may not be for you. My body type is considered BBW/SSBBW so if that’s not your thing that’s okay, thank you for reading this far.
