I hope you all are having a good weekend. I'm just going to ramble on about myself and what I'm looking for and hopefully it'll catch someones attention.

As the title says I'm 38 and from South Central Pennsylvania. I'm in the Harrisburg area. I have never been married, and have no children. I am child free. I have been single for 8 years. Sadly, I've been very unlucky in the dating department. I will be very transparent, I am what most consider to be BBW/SSBBW. I hate that terminology as it's mostly used in porn but that's the best way to describe myself. I have two genetic conditions lipedema and lymphedema which is the reason for my weight and the reason it's not ever going to change. I'm not looking for a dieting, exercise partner.

I work for the local phone company, I work from home, and I've been with my company for 16 years. I'm not a workaholic and believe in having a good work-life balance. I am very passionate about my work though. I really love technology and anything regarding technology.

I love reading, it's one of my main passions. Mystery, suspense, thriller, sci-fi, fantasy are my main genres. I actually own over 1,000 books. One of the rooms in my apartment is dedicated to my books. I have 7 full bookshelves, and countless other little nooks and shelves with books on them. I love reading physical books, I love the smell and feel of the paper. I know so old fashioned of me.

I also have a passion for horror movies. Good ones, bad ones, new ones, old ones. I really want to see the movie Barbarian that just came out. I also saw the trailers for Smile and Prey for the Devil I'm excited about. Obviously, I love halloween or spooky season. I want to carve a pumpkin and drink hot chocolate and watch scary movies. I have a shudder subscription and I love watching shudder original movies. I also love french horror movies like martyrs, high tension, frontiers, and inside.

I play a lot of video games. I have a ps5 and a xbox series x. I love the borderlands franchise. I'm looking forward to the new tales from the borderlands. I'm also looking forward to the new pokemon game in November. Currently, I've been playing video horror society, it's a free game on steam you should check it out if you're also a PC gamer. My pc is pretty shit but it's enough to play this game. I'm also an avid twitch watcher so if I'm not playing video games I'm probably watching them.

I also love music. I don't have any musical talent myself but I'm always listening to music. I'm weird in that I don't care how a songs sounds per se, I care about how a song makes me feel, and I care about the words. As I type this I'm listening to Pentatonix - Hallelujah. Their voices are beautiful, but I love the lyric, "...but all I've ever learned from love was how to shoot somebody who out drew ya." I think that's so profound. Before this I was listening to Nine Inch Nails - Something I can never Have. I am a big Nine Inch Nails fan. Pretty Hate Machine is one of my all time favorite albums. It's also worth mentioning I really love Taylor Swift, yeah yeah I know what you're thinking. It's okay, I have no shame.

I have a large house plant collection and I'm very passionate about plants. I'm constantly watering, feeding, pruning, re potting, reading, or doing something regarding my plants. I work in my plant room daily. It's a source of a lot of joy for me. I love seeing them grow and thrive. I'm always looking at new ways to take care of my plants. I'm also always looking for new ones. I could talk about plants for hours and hours. I'd love to grow food but sadly I live in an apartment and I think food is best grown outside, maybe some day.

So what I'm looking for. Well that's a hard question I guess. Ideally, I'd like a long term relationship. I understand that doesn't happen over night. I'd be happy with friends as well since I'm kind of a loner. That being said I'm probably not going to sext, trade nudes, or anything like that with just a friend. I'm not a prude, I've just been used too much in todays dating scene and would rather save that kind of thing for something more serious.
