My name is Ven and I'm a 33 year old Indian guy! I'm from the more liberal, egalitarian part of India and my city Chennai, has a rich history of culture and colonialism since 1 AD.

I’m active in US/UK/overlapping timezones all day, year round as I work as a cyber security expert for companies in the west, though I'm living in India.

I know my culture, country and race gets a bad reputation online, so I just want to put up front that: I’m not misogynistic, I don’t hold “traditional values” (patriarchal or conservative) nor I behave creepy or inappropriate. I'm pretty westernised, level headed and would like to treat people as individuals and seek the same.

My core personal beliefs: I’m a liberal, body positive, athiest, LGBTQ ally, egalitarian, and 420 friendly and pro-choice guy.

I'm not looking for instant gratification or something short term. I seek a long term serious connect, with genuine effort and enthusiasm. I'm mature enough to handle any adverse outcomes, if the connect don't workout between us. I've been in relationships before but they didn't work out due to incompatibility and timing (never married, no kids, sitting on fence whether to have kids).

I prefer liberal plus size women to be my partner, race agnostic. This is a genuine preference as I like those women's attitudes and aesthetics more

I have friends from all genders from various backgrounds and parts of the world and dated long distance before. So I am open minded as heck!

If I had to fill out a dating profile blurb I guess I’d write that: I’m funny, enthusiastic, energetic, assertive, determined, passionate, "rolls sleeves to get the job done" kinda person. Caring, gentle, family oriented, and my friends describe me "Google, Wikipedia in human form” and “an individual with a kind heart.”

My hobbies are very varied. I read a lot of informational stuff for my research, just for fun and knowledge gain. My motto is "Even a small piece of paper with little info is knowledge".

I write poems spontaneously, do watercolor art, watch historical documentaries. I ride motorcycles both for commuting as well as a hobby. My art works are in my insta: waterflowofpoem.

I believe I cook well, and I like learning about cooking and food is a very happy topic with me, maybe you can share your favourite recipe so I can try cooking it!

I like learning new languages and learning about linguistics. The commonalities between two languages and such-- I speak 6 indian languages apart from English and some Japanese!

*I love watching historical, horror, SciFi movies and romcom movies and shows. Suggest your favorites in Netflix for me. Currently watching Lucifer. Some of my favourites are GoT, Vikings, Rick & Morty, Witcher, Stranger things and the latest science documentary series I enjoyed was about the Utah Skinwalker ranch.

My music taste is varied but in my core, I am a metalhead. Metallica (not due to stranger things), ACDC, Black Sabbath my favourite bands. If not metal, my playlist has EDM, Trance and Rock bands. Currently making a playlist of songs from Lucifer.
