I haven't slept well since Christmas as I am having a difficult time in the wake of the excitement. This led to one of the dumbest things of all-time, but has left me in quite a bit of pain.
Short version: it was garbage day, I had one more thing for the trash can, the steps were icy/snowy and I literally took a Home Alone fall. Think Joe Pesci on the steps in the first movie, only instead of landing flat, I hit another step right in the middle of my back.
I'm sure it looked funny to the neighbors if they'd have been watching, but it was a little less fun for me. As a result, I'm planning to take it easy tonight and thought I'd see if there was anyone out there who wants to talk.
Looking for someone who wants to talk and hopefully find some common ground and see where things lead.
What should you know about me?
-I'm a divorced dad of two fantastic boys (8, 6) They spend half their time with me.
-I work in supply management for a pretty large company.
-I also have a part-time gig in sports media that I enjoy. It's truly a passion pursuit.
-I'm a sports fan, which probably doesn't shock you. Love my teams and always enjoy the environment of being at the game.
-I love lots of shows, including The Office, Parks and Rec, Seinfeld, Friends, The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ted Lasso.
-I enjoy reading (auto)biographies, historical non-fiction and oral history pieces. I'd really like to spend more time on that hobby.
-I like card games and poker and would love to teach you! I'm not really a gamer, but it's fine if you like to play.
What should I know about you?
-That you're unattached. Besides that, I'd love to find out the rest on my own.
Reach out any time and let me know what you're up to during the sunset of this holiday season!
