Good evening from North Dakota!

Briefly about me as I mentioned I'm a 41-year-old man (technically only 40 but my birthday is in just a couple weeks so I'm just calling it 41) living out in rural North Dakota on a small (just over 3 acres) farm. Professionally I'm a personal chef and I also run a small stand at the local farmers markets where I sell baked goods, mostly bread and bread like items, homemade canned goods, and slowly but surely more and more fresh produce. Given that I'm building this farm up I'm pretty well planted right where I am, and it's right where I want to be. So if you are interested in pursuing something with me then you need to be open to relocating up here.

I'm a bit more on the traditional side I guess you'd call it, at least in my own personal outlook. I do believe that men are meant to be protectors and to at least some degree, providers. That one should be a leader as well. Please note, a good leader listens to others and takes their input very seriously. So I don't expect, or want, a partner that's a doormat(unless it's in private someplace with a prearranged safe word, but that's something that can be talked about more if you decide to respond to this post).

Family is also incredibly important to me and the person I'm looking for would want to settle down and have at least one or two kids together(if you're childfree and not open to changing your mind, I wish you the best of luck but you and I aren't meant to be).

In my free time, what little there is some days, I enjoy spending time outside in my garden, out in my workshop doing some woodworking, or taking some time to go camping, fishing, or hunting. During the winter months when there's less outside time going on you'll usually find me in reading or occasionally playing video games. I definitely like the quieter life so if you're the type that likes cities and crowds and things of that nature I'm probably not the guy for you.
