Hey there, good to see ya, come on in. I've been trying to figure out how to write a blurb that's catchy, fun, and makes you want to know more about me, but damn it's difficult. I guess the best place to start is the basics, but I'll honestly sound like everyone else. Oh well, here goes.

I'm a 33 year old fella from Indiana who feels like they've just restarted their life, and would love to have someone to help me write the next chapter. I like to go fishing, I play games on PC, I'm a voracious reader (mostly fantasy and sci-fi, but I've read my fair share of the classics,) classic vinyl collector, I play D&D every week, and love Lego.

I don't do drugs (but don't mind if you occasionally burn the devil's lettuce,) I quit nicotine this year, and only occasionally drink. I'm the chunky sort, I have a bit more than a dad bod but I've been getting my life back on track, so I'm balls deep in the process of losing weight and am absolutely shedding the pounds. I think of myself as a diamond in the rough who's starting to polish up nicely, and every day I try to improve some piece of me. I started a new career at the end of November after owning a business for 12 years, so I'm re-learning what it's like to have hobbies and a life. It's a slow process, but I'm pushing out of my comfort zone. I'm also thinking about getting in to woodworking.

I'm looking for someone to explore life with. Someone who loves comfortable silence with each other as much as random off the wall conversations, or sometimes running away for a couple day adventure. I find most things in life hilarious, so someone with an easy sense of humor is my perfect person. I'm always looking at long term goals, so I need someone to reign me in and remember to live for today as well. Our hobbies and likes don't have to match, but I'd love someone to play games with or even just backseat game. Food is my love language, and so is corny gifts. Mostly I'm just looking for a best friend.
