So, yeah, I'm broken. Almost 27 years ago, I was being an 18 year old boy and it caught me. I broke my neck and it set my life on a path I didn't intend. Shit happens.
But there is a universal truth: broken things can be repaired. Maybe not back to new spec, but perfectly serviceable. ;) That's me.
I'm disabled. I'm paralyzed from about the chest down and use a wheelchair. That obviously comes with some physical limitations and I totally get that it's a dealbreaker for most of you. Obesity is a dealbreaker for me so no hard feelings there. Yes, being paralyzed affects sexual function but that's not 100% a bad thing, either. Feel free to ask me about anything. That's the broken stuff.
But as I eluded to above, there's serviceable stuff too. I have a great job that I love, I drive, live alone, cook, clean and function as an adult that contributes to society. I'm loyal, thoughtful, romantic and actually fun to hang out with. And despite the style of this post, I'm genuinely hilarious. I have older posts that have more humor and a lot more detail but I figured I'd try a different approach.
Maybe you're okay with broken stuff or even like that imperfections can add character.
Here's a recent selfie to show I'm not a hideous beast: [Imgur](https://i.imgur.com/HVmPEg4.jpg)
