I am not sure how to say what I am trying to say.
When I was 12 I was sexually assaulted by an adult female, as you can imagine losing my virginity in such a way was a pretty traumatic experience. I never had sex again until I was an adult. Flash forward to that point and I meet my ex wife. We were together 12 years. We had actual sex TWICE the entire time we were married and it was emotionally abusive. She was abusive, physically and otherwise. I finally worked up the courage to leave the situation and I have been gone almost 2 years. I have dated, but when it comes to the point in the relationship where sex is expected things fall apart. I want to find my person, fall in love and live happily ever after. I just feel like I need to get over this road block first.
What exactly am I looking for?
I am looking for someone non-judgemental and empathetic who would be willing to let me work through my anxiety and fear so I can get over it and begin to date without fear that I will embarrass myself or disappoint them. I know this is a lot, I just want to experience real sex and build a healthy sex life for my future.
