I would love someone that would be open to growing and learning together, sharing our lives and ideals, and helping each other achieve our goals. Ideally, I am looking for a guy that would want something long term, open to connecting, and has interests in common.

About me:

- I am into gaming (strictly PC, I do not own any consoles). I mostly love MMOs and sandbox games, but will play just about anything. Lately I have been playing a lot of co-op games. I am on both Steam and Discord.

- Horror in general is a big interest to me, I started reading Stephen King in middle school and never looked back. I love A24 and IFC Midnight movies in general, and I find shows like Futurama and Family Guy funny.

- I prefer mostly metal, though I like everything from folk music to black metal. My favorite bands are Pink Floyd and Type O Negative.

- I love art and philosophy. I also love memes and pictures of any kind of animal. I am more of a cat person than a dog person.

- I am a bookworm and am always reading something, mental stimulation is something I need. I like to ask questions and understand things, especially people. I like to notice and draw patterns between things I'm learning and discovering.

- I live alone, am single, and have no children or pets. (though I do love both!) At this age, I would also prefer someone else that is child-free.

- I love to cook and bake, and can make just about anything. My favorite thing to make is comfort food and desserts and I try about two new recipes a week.

- My personality type is INFJ. I would describe myself as a wholesome person that likes spooky things.

- I am demisexual, so attraction for me takes time, I'm not the kind of person that can look at a picture and feel something.

- I don't drink or smoke or use drugs and prefer someone that is the same.

The bad stuff:

- I am not pretty. If you are looking for someone that is physically attractive, that is not me. I am shy about pictures, so if that is something that is going to be important to you, we will not be a good match.

- I suffer from migraine and have to rest/sleep as much as I need. It is also triggered by being overly physical active. I have to be careful of how much I am doing in any given day to avoid triggering it. I am functional most days as long as I get as much sleep as my body wants and can rest if I feel a migraine happening.

What I'm looking for:

A male near my age (35 ) looking to connect with someone deeply, both emotionally and intellectually and see if there is chemistry between us. More than anything, I am looking for a good person with a kind heart that values the same in return.

I tend to be attracted to INTx types, but it is not a deal breaker.

I need someone that won't mind taking the time to get to know each other and to just let things happen. I am ideally looking for my forever person, and I don't believe good relationships just form, they are built. I would love someone with the same kind of mindset. The ability to communicate well and be romantic is a huge plus.

I am a sucker for the nerdy type - the kind that likes to play games (both video and tabletop), and likes to fix or tinker with things like computers or engines. Since I like to spend learning in my spare time, a partner who does the same would be ideal.
