Is there anyone else who's in the situation I am? I've had 11 days off and some of it was good and some was not-so-good, but I'm basically in the midst of a heightened version of Sunday Scaries where I am dreading the week to come.
My hope for now is to forget about that for a while as I'm looking for someone who wants to talk and hopefully find some common ground and see where things lead.
What should you know about me?
-I'm a divorced dad of two fantastic boys (8, 6) They spend half their time with me.
-I work in supply management for a pretty large company.
-I also have a part-time gig in sports media that I enjoy. It's truly a passion pursuit.
-I'm a sports fan, which probably doesn't shock you. Love my teams and always enjoy the environment of being at the game.
-I love lots of shows, including The Office, Parks and Rec, Seinfeld, Friends, The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ted Lasso.
-I enjoy reading (auto)biographies, historical non-fiction and oral history pieces. I'd really like to spend more time on that hobby.
-I like card games and poker and would love to teach you! I'm not really a gamer, but it's fine if you like to play.
What should I know about you?
-That you're unattached. Besides that, I'd love to find out the rest on my own.
