Hi there! I'm Sam, I'm 32 and I recently moved to Cortland, N.Y. to work as a newspaper sports reporter (amazing that I have anything to write about in the current climate, right?). In my spare time I enjoy watching sports, video and card games, trivia nights, mini golf, bowling, Dave and Buster's, casinos, conventions, tournaments and cooking.

Since I barely have any connections out here, and the social outlets I'd pursue are closed due to COVID, I'm looking for two things out of this post:

1. A new group of friends, preferably a mix of genders, who are into any of the same things I am and want to plan outings or activities together - convention/tournament trips, game nights, sports games, casino nights, trivia, etc.

2. A serious, long-lasting romantic relationship. (Please note: while I'm looking for friends of any gender, I am only interested in dating women.) Let's face it, I'm not getting any younger, and at my age, I'd like to think that I'd at least be living with a long term S.O., though thankfully I'm no longer living with two roommates whom I constantly cleaned up after and bailed out financially. I just want to find someone who can be my romantic partner, activity partner and best friend.

A couple other things to note:

1. When I say a new group of friends, I really do mean a group. I'm not at all interested in getting a drink with one guy at a bar.

2. Another thing I am DEFINITELY NOT interested in is being propositioned for sex or smoking and jerking off by some random guy. You would think I wouldn't have to say this, but then again, maybe you underestimate the horniness of random dudes on the internet.

3. When I say "anywhere," I ask that, if you don't live near me, you should be willing to meet regularly and within a reasonable amount of time (taking quarantine into consideration, of course).
