Let's start with some basics.

Male, white, straight, 37, 6' 2", house, stable and long term job, good income, car, no criminal history, no children, no ex wife, open to dating all races, and I don't do drugs or drink/smoke. It's not a religious thing, but drinking and drugs have just never appealed to me. As in the taste of beer and smokes kills my desire to consume them long before they have an impact on me.

Now that the basics are out of the way a little bit more about me as a person. I'm a single man seeking some companionship. I'm not looking for a hook up, but certainly a girlfriend. And certainly more in the future. I'm open minded though when it comes to relationships I'm very traditional. Not looking for any kind of open or poly relationship.

So stop me if you've heard this one; I like table top games, video games, reading, guns, air soft, anime, sci fi, and making things. And I do mean making things. Like building stuff with my hands. Needless to say I'm pretty social, but honestly there are also days I'd rather spend time at home. Alot of people describe me kinda like a teddy bear. Big, huggable, can be funny, and ready to be mean as a real bear when the time calls for it. And whats a day in my life look like? When I'm at home I'm either petting my cats, cleaning up, playing something fun like dwarf fortress (currently running a fort called oakwheel) or doing some painting. When Im out Im either visiting my Niece, playing war games, or at a local festival.

In terms of what I'm looking for, A woman between the ages of 18 and 32. Shorter then me is always a plus, but seeing as I'm 6 foot tall that's not a hard bar to clear. Again, open to any race. I also find it very attractive if a woman is into some kind of care giving profession. So vets, teachers, nurses, and other jobs like that are a huge plus. Also should have some personal interests and be open to learning about a few of mine. Nothing would make me happier then spending an afternoon introducing someone to one of my hobbies or learning about someone else's.

I tend to be pretty steady but relaxed about communicating. I tend to treat most messaging systems like email, even if its instant messenger. This means you can expect to hear from me about once a day. Sometime more, sometimes less. If you want alot of online quick talk though, I'm sure we can do some gaming together XD

Distance? While someone in state is best I can deal with someone living further away. But keep in mind that you should be willing to meet up and eventually move to live with me. And the further away you live, the pickier I might be. Live in the Midwest? Eh, that's not so bad. No worries! Live in Australia? Gonna need to be some pretty hot stuff just due to all the difficulties.

Now its time to get to stuff people really wont like. Not looking for anyone who's majorly into politics. If you want me showing up to protest rallies or getting upset at random news articles, I will not. My entire approach tends to be "I don't care," and to just say the gov shouldn't do things, period. I'm very Libertarian and have so many things to do besides argue internet politics

And lastly, the fastest way to lose my attention is to respond in only short messages. One word replies, sentances with only a couple words in them, things like that. I understand being shy, but this is the internet. It is a communication system so be ready for some communicating.
