Hi everyone,

Like many of y'all, I am searching for my somebody, not anybody.... but anybody can be my somebody. That's something to ponder over in the wee hours of the morning. I have a serious case of the love sickeness. My momma always said there is no remedy for love sickness, except to love and be loved. In that vein, I am searching for the kind of love that makes your heart race and your spirit soar. The butterflies, jitteriness, and pounding heart. I want it all. It might be a tad fanciful, but I hope this post is fruitful.

About me:

My beginnings begin in Texas with a small 7 year stint in Louisiana. My upbringing consists of small towns dotted across Texas. Although, I am from the USA my heritage is from India, so there is a lot of cultural richness in the mix. I am currently a medical student that will start medical rotations soon. I love Texas despite its faults, but the tides of my career will carry me away for a bit. I am not beholden to one place, and I will be moving to Chicago by next month.

Hobbies/Interests: Sharing similar hobbies is fantastic, but it's not necessary to share the same passions. Ultimately, I want a connection. - Movies and TV: My favorite genres are Sci-fi, horror, and crime. A few movies I like are "Whiplash", "Godzilla Minus One", "The Thing" (1982), "Shutter Island". - Exercising: I love running much to my detriment sometimes. I love running in the outdoors in parks and on trails. I enjoy weight lifting at the gym too. Being healthy and strong are important to me. It's not my life, though. - Food: A few of my favorite cuisines are: Thai, Mediterranean, and Ethiopian. I enjoy exploring various cuisines at restaurants, and I enjoy trying new recipes when cooking at home. I think I make a nice chicken madras. - Reading: "Percy Jackson...", "Eragon", "Skullduggery...", "Robinson Crusoe's "Small is Beautiful Economics as if People Mattered" - Boardgames: Arboretum & Mysterium. I typically play in a large game. I enjoy the simpler games like Scrabble and Monopoly. Videogames (on occasion): Skyrim, Infamous, GoW, & Horizon Zero Dawn. - Nature-y stuff. I find solace in the outdoors, wandering through serene landscapes and appreciating nature's abundant beauty. I like to take pictures, and I'd love to share. - Sports: I play tennis. Although, I do not play as frequently as I used to in the past. It would be nice to have someome to play with. I know a little volleyball, but I'm not a diver. - Learning a language: I aspire to relearn Hebrew and Latin in addition to French. I think it would be amazing to communicate in other languages with each other and to whisper sweet nothings and have our own secret conversations.

I would eventually like to pickup a few more interests such as learning how to play the piano and the violin. Who knows? Maybe we can pickup something together....

What I seek in a partner:

I am searching for someone who values a healthy and active lifestyle, someone who takes care of themselves physically. While physical compatibility is important, I value a shared commitment to overall wellness. Intimacy and romance (sweet sweet love) are important to me, and I like physical affection a lot. I won't go into detail here. I don't want to make my grandma blush. Admittedly, I do like someone that is slightly clingy. It's nice to feel wanted. I want someone who expresses their desire for me. I would like someone that is vulnerable because it builds a stronger connection. I deeply appreciate the intimacy it fosters. I desire a partner who values companionship and reciprocity, understanding that mutual effort and appreciation are fundamental. I'm drawn to qualities like open-mindedness, calmness, and versatility in a potential partner. I have a lot of love for the right person. A lot of sugar, a dash of spice, and a little chemical X.

Personality:

I consider myself a blend of reserved and adventurous, leaning towards seriousness yet showcasing a playful side when I'm comfortable with someone. Sarcasm and good-natured teasing are my occasional indulgences. I find comfort in being a homebody, but I do emerge from my cave. I strive to go the extra mile for my partner, and I always try to showcase of my love for someone through cards, poems (albeit poorly written), and physical affection.

Physical Description:

Currently, my hair cascades in mid-neck-length waves with a subtle curl at the end. I am a fan of the clean-shaven aesthetic, but I occasionally sport well-maintained stubble. My complexion is a true caramel that is complemented by dark brown eyes. I have a slim-to-average physique with broad shoulders and a semi- visible jawline. I stand at a height of 5'7".

Religion & Politics:

I identify as a non-resistant nonbeliever, akin to agnosticism, a term I stumbled upon during my college philosophy course, and it resonated with me. Although I grew up attending a Christian church and my undergraduate school was Christian-oriented, my parents practice Hinduism, offering me exposure to various beliefs. However, I'm personally not religious. I'm open-minded towards all religious affiliations and welcome the opportunity to learn about different faiths.

Similarly, my political stance isn't easily boxed into conservative or democratic ideologies. I value the continuous evolution of my political beliefs, emphasizing independent thinking and the avoidance of polarizing partisan politics. I believe in the importance of being challenged to foster growth and maintain my autonomy of thought and action.

Kids & Pets:

I've made the decision not to have children. For me, it's about prioritizing my partner, hobbies, and career. It's a personal lifestyle choice that allows me to dedicate myself fully to these areas. My partner holds the top spot in my life, and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

I opt not to have pets due to lifestyle constraints, financial considerations, and personal preferences. I simply have no interest in having pets, but I'd be willing to accommodate.
