[Not entirely sure how to write an opener for this post, consider this a greeting and a thank you if you decide to read all of what I've written.]

Basic stats about me:

• Ethnically black – light-medium brown skin, dark brown eyes and long dark brown hair. 5'6" (167cm) in height, chubby/overweight/plus-sized^{/whatever you'd like to call it.} Big glasses. A preview photo of my face to ease any curiosity while maintaining a semblance of anonymity (this is Reddit after all.) ^{My hair is a bit longer than this and I am a bit chubbier than this now, but you get the gist.}
• Currently reside in the southeastern region of the United States (get me out!)
• Lighthearted, inquisitive, slightly shy until comfortable, half serious and half silly. Dry, kooky and dark but inoffensive sense of humor.
• Enjoys traveling, wants to experience the world and photograph the wonderful landscapes – paradoxically a homebody on most days (but desiring to change that.)
• Media preferences: Psychological thriller, horror, high fantasy, true crime and anime. Video games ranging from life and immersive simulations, sandbox, MMOs, a popular MOBA and it's auto-battler spin-off. Music ranging from electronica, lo-fi, r&b, hip-hop and rock.
• Values: Honesty/straightforwardness and empathy/compassion. Childfree (don't have and don't want children.) Monogamy and fidelity. Non-religious. Politically left-leaning. Straight-edge for the most part (don't drink, smoke, or do drugs.)

Searching for:

• Love, a committed and serious relationship (ultimately.) Someone to look forward to talking with daily and frequently. Meaningful conversations. A confidant. Truly caring for and valuing each other. Romance. Attentiveness. Consistent effort. Becoming an integral part of each other's lives.
• Monogamous, has been single for a considerable time, is completely emotionally available (Not fearful of love, trust and commitment. Not pining for and/or using this platform as a buffer to move on from a former love interest. Not in contact with any exes.)
• Believes in marriage (the "marriage is a piece of paper" mentality, etc. doesn't bode well with me!) (I strongly, strongly prefer someone who hasn't been engaged or married in the past as I would love, love to experience that with someone for the very first and hopefully only time.)
• Childfree. (Doesn't have any offspring and would never want to produce, raise or adopt offspring in the future.)
• Comfortable in who they are, mentally healthy, self-aware, empathetic, gainfully employed and living on their own.
• Not politically conservative or "apolitical." Not religious or "spiritual."
• Without STDs/STIs, drugs, porn or other addictions.
• Average libido (not high, not low), fairly "vanilla" and not interested in "kink."
• Cisgender and heterosexual male.
• Firmly within the ages of 24-30. (Not younger, not older.)
• Resident and citizen of either United States, Canada or Europe.

Long-distance is okay to begin with as long as there is willingness and capability to meet in-person within at least a few months (a long-term penpal is.. not ideal) and of course, willingness and capability to eventually close the distance.
