I know. I know. You are probably tired of repeatedly seeing this post here. I am still searching for the right person.

I am from Houston, Texas. Well, I live just outside of Houston, but I am currently residing in Minnesota for the month.

I am a 25 year old male of Asian descent, and I am pursuing a career in medicine.

Hobbies/Interests: We do not have to share the same hobbies and interests because I think a connection is more important. I want to understand my partner and having similar interests is the icing on the cake. - Movies and TV (Sci-fi, horror, and crime) - Exercising, especially running. I lift, too. I think my favorite exercises are back related. - Food (Thai, Mediterranean, and Indian). I like to try different restaurants and to cook new dishes. I like all cuisines, but these are my favorites. - Reading. I like sci-fi and mystery, but I am open to any genre. I think it would be awesome to read the same book together. - Boardgames and videogames. I have played several Boardgames, and my favorite was Arboretum. - Nature-y stuff. I like walking outside and taking in the view. I like walking along trails. It would be nice do something like that with a partner. - Music (Instrumental, orchestral, and rap). I listen to songs from each genre. I listen to music occasionally, usually when I walk outside or during car rides. - Investing

I want to pickup more hobbies and interests. I would like to learn how to play the piano and violin. I want to learn a new language. I am trying to learn French at the moment. I want to do outdoor activities such as hiking and maybe even camping. I have always wanted to learn video effects. It's great if you do one or multiple of these things, so I can learn or participate too. We can pickup a joint hobby too.

What I seek in a partner: I have no physical requirements because I like people of all sizes and shapes. My tastes vary, ao it is hard to pick one thing. However, I do want someone who is healthy. I believe romance and intimacy are vital to a relationship, so I am drawn to physical affection. I like someone who is affectionate, and I want someone who wants to be around their partner constantly. I would like someone who makes an effort in the relationship from small gestures to grand ones. I never want the relationship to be one-sided. A few notable qualities in a partner are open-minded, calm, and versatile.

Physical Description: My height is about 5' 7" ~ ish. I have long black hair, and I plan to grow it out. I sport some stubble, but I prefer being clean shaven. Although, I have never tried to grow a beard. My skin color is light caramel or maybe dark caramel. My eyes are dark brown. I have a slim to average body type. I have no idea how much I weigh. I mentioned previously that I enjoy running and lifting, so I would like to think I am somewhat fit and muscular. The downside is that I have no clothing style. It is atrocious. I usually wear shorts and a shirt. I need to improve my clothing game. Maybe you can help me with that.

Personality: I would describe myself as a reserved yet adventurous individual. While I tend to be serious, my playful side emerges once I'm comfortable with someone. I have a fondness for sarcasm and good-natured teasing. I am a homebody.

Religion & Politics: I like to call myself a non-resistant nonbeliever, which is similar to agnosticism. I attended a Christian church when I was younger, and my undergraduate school was Christian, too. My parents practice Hinduism, so I have some exposure to religion. I am not religious, though. I am open to anyone regardless of religious affiliation, and I would definitely like to learn about your religion. The same thinking applies to politics. I think it is important to be challenged and to grow as a result. It's hard to pinpoint my political stance, but it is neither conservative nor democratic. My political ideology is always evolving, so the polarization among the two parties is constrictive.

Marriage & Kids: This is probably the most important bit. I envision a meaningful connection that is built on the premise of transcending the confines of societal expectations of marriage and children, for I firmly believe that true love and commitment cannot be reduced to a legal contract or the obligation of raising offspring. I do not see myself getting married. While some people might find it strange, I believe that a strong and meaningful relationship doesn't require a marriage certificate. That is my philosophy regarding marriage. However, I would be willing to toss my philosophy aside for the person I love. I also do not want kids. I would rather use my time to focus on my partner, hobbies, and career.

I want to emphasize that I would like to eventually meet in person. I do not want to wait forever. Long distance is not my forte, so I would want things to progress from conversations and transition to real-life connections. If you happen to be from my area, we can hang out and see where things lead. Ultimately, I'm searching for someone who is open-minded, relaxed, self-aware, and values intimacy in a relationship. I believe that genuine connections are worth pursuing, and I'm hopeful that I'll find my person someday soon.
