Story:

I’m a 21 year old Haitian and Italian girl who’s into I guess White males, even Asian males and I’ve just really struggled in nyc dating. I get tons of matches on bumble but mostly just overly sexualizing me (from all races, especially my own), tried BLK and had the worst time, even worse than bumble. And I tried hinge and it seemed the only guys who liked me for a relationship and not just sex- were basically not attractive men (of all races) or older men who are divorced with kids, Poly, ENM, etc. And it’s been a real soul crushing blow. No one ever comes up to me in real life and I’ve been told it’s because I’m “too pretty” whatever that means. So apparently some men are intimidated, or assume things about me without even giving me a chance. I work in real estate, have a luxury apt in Manhattan, very ambitious but soft and feminine and it just seems like I can never find a quality guy to date. Just douchebags who want to use me… and I can say it’s not easy when you’re also not the type to sleep around or early on meeting someone, so any good guy is immediately like I’m not going to wait. And frankly, I just don’t want my vagina all over nyc- I was raised a certain way with a great dad, and it’s just not my thing.

So I figured try this Reddit group out, maybe for some odd reason this will be what works. And if not, online dating doesn’t work for me and I’ll accept that and maybe take a break from dating and try meetup groups next.

All in all I’m looking for a handsome guy, don’t have to be Chris hemsworth or some k pop idol (even though I’d love that lol) just take care of yourself, good career, be honest and forthcoming about whatever status you’re in (kids, past marriage etc.) and seriously looking to build a life with a smart, attractive woman.
