Why does one night stand or Friends with Benefits have such a bad connotation to it.
Yes, nothing beats having a healthy committed relationship, Where your wavelengths match. Nothing can beat that intimacy and never will.
But when you do not have that in your life. One night stands or friends with benefits can be so fulfilling and satisfying. I mean yes they are about your physical needs but if both of you are considerate, open and ready to have fun. It can be so satisfying and healthy also.
Recently I have 3- 4 encounters in the last couple of weeks (forgot about this because as i just got out of a very toxic 3 year relationship). And I know and both parties have walked way with a good night , where their insecurities are put to rest for a while and genuine confidence boost (for me at least). Dating apps can be so depressing because of constant rejection (especially for average looking guy like me). Then you meet someone and you have great night and you walk away such good energy. And when you are not looking for anything serious. You can be unapologetically yourself. You could just ask anything as there is no pressure of what the person think about you.
Saying that when that healthy committed relationship is missing. I love this intimacy and just cant get enough of it. Thank you for reading. These are just my thoughts. You may agree or disagree in the comments.
