I know it’s been said before, but women who out themselves in this sub by posting are immediately deluged by countless messages and replies both wanted and unwanted. So for them, it’s usually a lot easier and less hassle to just browse the posts and dm the ones they are interested in. I’ve had friends who have even posted to the sun but only replied to a post and gotten a flood of messages which is why many also choose to turn off their messaging.
Like others here have suggested; just put some effort into a well written post and not a generic one and it will go way further than just a short one liner.
