My airline just informed me that due to a change in my flight schedule, I will have a long layover in Hong Kong which gives me a day to spend around exploring the area in early December. Boo airline, yay shenanigans!
Here's how our pretend marriage works: we go around town exploring all the local sights and sounds. If anyone asks, we gotta pretend to be husband and wife, and spontaneously conjure up the most outrageous stories about how we met and try to embarrass each other. Whoever breaks into laughter first buys the next round of drinks.
I will only be around for a day, so obviously this is all for shits and giggles. No scope for a lasting connection because 24 hours is not a whole lot of time, but I'd be open to keeping in touch over text so we can check in with each other about whether our pretend kids have been eating their pretend porridge.
