Seems like there’s a reoccurring catfish that has come again.

Anyone with one eye can literally tell that these are not the same people (they posted a photo of a tanner asian with lighter hair in their profile)

How to avoid catfish:

• if it’s too good to be true then it probably is

• ask to voice chat as a low effort way to get a response in the most human way, also much quicker than texting!

• low effort posts are usually signs up a catfish or someone who will waste your time in general

• do not send your photos unless they share a verified photo of themself in the post. Sadly most people think that if you send a pic of yourself they expect the other to reciprocate. That will not work

• young Asian petite girl is usually just baiting at this point. Girls that highly express their love for Asian men are also just baiting

IMMEDIATELY AS A COMMUNITY:

• report this catfish as spam or harassment SPECIFICALLY ANY MESSAGES THEY HAVE SENT YOU as this triggers reddit’s moderators - this will effectively remove them off the site (it really works!)
