God I'm terrible at things like this if I have to be serious so uh forgive the awkwardness. Anyway, as title says, I'm looking for some friends to talk to and hang out with — mostly gaming but maybe also watching movies/anime or something together. I'm not interested in anything sexual or flirty, just platonic friendship.

Now, I'm not opposed if the friendship eventually develops into more, but I'm someone who is extremely slow burn and very slow to get comfortable and develop feelings, so odds are if it ever grows past friendship, it's going to be many many months if not years down the road. So please only message me if you're happy with gaining just a friend and not a girlfriend, and please don't come into this expecting anything romantic per se because 99% chance it won't happen tbh.

And I'll be upfront and say that my energy levels fluctuate massively depending on my depression that day, so I might seem a bit hot and cold at the start and suck at initiating/maintaining contact at first until/unless we get closer. So if that sounds way too much effort and trouble than it's worth for you, nope out now.

With those warnings out of the way, here are some things about me that you might (?) want to know before messaging I guess?

• My main hobby is gaming, mostly on PC but I own a Switch (that I haven't touched since my Animal Crossing addiction phase lol). I generally play multiplayer co-op survival games with a few friends these days, but I enjoy a variety of games like action rpg, 4x, roguelike, narrative rpgs, cozy farming sims, etc. Chances are I'll be willing to give most games a try if someone wants me to play with them. In case you're wondering, yes, I also play League, but I'm kinda trash and mostly play ARAM so there's that.
• I'm more of a reading person than a watching person, so I don't really watch movies/anime that often, but maaaaybe I'd enjoy that more with a friend? Either way, I read trashy romance novels that are honestly terrible writing but it's kinda entertaining in a bad reality tv show kinda way, ya know?
• Uhh I'm East Asian, 5'3, average weight. I don't drink/smoke/do anything exciting really 😂 The craziest thing I do is impulsively buy a game on Steam that just goes on my backlog and I'll probably never play
• I really like voice calls and voice messages because they feel more personal, buuuut probably not gonna jump into that right away at the start of meeting unless it's for voice comms while gaming together or something.
