Didn't ever imagine turning to Reddit for this but alas, here I am. Hi all!
I'm introverted by nature, so I've always found it hard to connect with people. I thought it would get easier when I'm older, but it's only gotten harder. I've always been engrossed in my hobbies. I love playing video games, watching anime, and listening to music mostly 80s and 90s rock and indie. But over the years, I have gained a fascination with Japan and its language. I've been learning Japanese for a few years now.
I live in the UK, so being able to meet someone who lives in the UK is great but don't let that put you off. I'll talk with anyone from anywhere. It would be great if we shared the same hobbies, if not I would like to hear about yours. I think that's makes talking to people fun (a phrase I never thought I would say when I was younger).
I ideally would like to be able to speak Japanese people or if you speak Japanese, that's cool too. I would like to talk to people around my age or slightly younger so in the age range 24-32. I don't know what I'm looking for right now, so I just want to chat and then see what happens from there. Hopefully I'll hear from one of you lot soon!
