It's spooky season and I have a backlog of scary movies to watch, but lately I've been pining for that comfortable warm blanket feeling of being in love. I function perfectly fine on my own, but I definitely thrive and have a pep in my step when there's that special someone that I just can't get off my mind.

I've lived in NYC my entire life and I'm located in the lower East side. I'm still emo at heart, a huge geek, and a lover of good story telling and cinematography. I'm a bit of an awkward introvert in large groups, but I handle myself a lot better in 1 on 1 interactions. Black cat energy outside, Golden Retriever energy inside. I work the overnight shift at my job so I'm around for late night chats. Tell me how your day went while I get mine started?

Some things I'm interested in:

• Movies - Sci-fi, horror, slow burn thrillers, the occasional good romcom, Marvel and other comic book movies.
• Shows - Stranger Things, The Boys, Wednesday. I'm usually not a big anime person, but currently I'm watching an anime called "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie", which is a slice of life anime with a bit of rolereversal dynamic in that the really cool/badass girl is constantly saving the clumsy guy. It's heckin' adorable so far.
• Games - I usually enjoy cinematic and story driven games. Nier: Automata is up next on my queue as soon as I get through the Shikimori anime. I'm open to suggestions for fun coop games too!
• My music taste varies a LOT but I mostly listen to movie soundtracks or instrumentals. Also I still listen to my high school favorites and it helps that Eminem and Linkin Park have albums out this year.
• I used to cosplay and go to conventions a lot and would love to find someone to go to these again.

Currently trying to find someone for a LTR monogamous relationship (preferably local or in the tri-state area). I don't mind distance for the right person as I have a good amount of vacation time to take trips, but it can be tough to coordinate visits. Physical touch is my primary love language, hugs and cuddles are very important to me.

My preferences and attractions for a romantic partner can be all over the place sometimes so idk feel free to shoot your shot, though nerds and geeks are probably easier for me to relate with. I have a preference for a M4F relationship but I'm also open to M4T or M4NB as well (I guess that makes me pan?)

Messaging is fine, but Chat is preferred. Please say more than just "Hi", introduce yourself, tell me what you think we might have in common, what your favorite activities are, etc. Including a picture is always a plus (it's nice to put a face to whom I'm talking to) but don't feel obligated to if you just want to be chill chat buddies. Sometimes Reddit will send me blank messages and I can't see who sent them, or sometimes I'll feel socially overwhelmed and lose steam/momentum in talking.
