I don't typically find myself on subreddits like these, but I figured I'd give it a shot 🤷‍♂️

A little about myself, I've graduated college with my Masters in Business and Bachelors in Econ. I ended up landing a job back at the institution I graduated from and that's where I'm currently at.

It's a little strange because I'm so young working in higher education as literally all my coworkers are older than I am yet it seems a little unprofessional to hang out too much with students I meet through work.

I do get to hang out with friends every now and then, but the majority of friends that I hung out with in person moved away and now we mostly just do stuff online.

I am a bit of a nerd. Hobbies do include video games, D&D, Magic the Gathering, etc. I'm also a Nintendo kid, so things like Pokémon, Animal Crossing, and Mario Kart are also definitely things I've always enjoyed. I don't watch a lot of TV shows too much anymore, but I have watched anime. No, it's not the only thing I watch. Brooklyn 99 has been my most recent thing I've started watching and I find the show HILARIOUS haha.

I do have other hobbies such as the gym, kayaking, hiking, traveling, and so on. I used to run Cross Country in school as well, but I haven't cared to run even another 5k since. I just stick to the gym nowadays haha. However, those hobbies have kind of been shut out temporarily because this region of Appalachia was hit really hard by hurricane Helene. Never thought I'd see it happen, but bridges and homes were washed away. Completely unheard of happening here. I was one of the fortunate ones relatively unaffected, but most nature trails are gone, we're under a boil notice for our water, and I have to make sure any bridges I cross are still there.
