Hello hello! My name is Edward, Born and raised in NYC, living on my own in the lower East side. Elder Emo, huge geek, lover of good story telling and cinematography. I'm super low maintenance and a bit of an introvert but will absolutely go out and be social for the right person/company. I've been described as having cat-like energy because of this; quiet at first, but very affectionate once I warm up to you. I work the overnight shift at my job so I'm around for late night chats. Some things I'm interested in:

• Movies - Sci-fi, horror (especially for spoopy season!), slow burn thrillers, Marvel and other comic book movies. I do like the occasional rom-com like "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" which reminds me of my high school and college days, or "Playing It Cool" (Chris Evans, what's not to love?).
• Shows - More or less the same (sci-fi and comic book related); Stranger Things, The Boys, Wednesday, Harley Quinn, Loki. I'm not the biggest on anime but the last thing I watched was "My Dress-up Darling" because I'm into cosplay.
• Games - Multiplayer games like SWTOR, Remnant 1 2, Phasmophobia, L4D 2, Worms (lol). Singleplayer games like Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect, Marvel's Spider-Man, Final Fantasy 7 (OG and Remake), Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2.
• Music taste varies a LOT; Machine Gun Kelly, Eminem, Linkin Park, Yellowcard, Imagine Dragons, The All American Rejects, Black Veil Brides, early 2000s emo music, EDM playlists on YouTube. I also listen to a lot of movie trailer music, they usually do a good job of hyping me up and making me feel excited.
• Cosplay! I used to cosplay a bit, mostly as Spider-Man back when I had the body for spandex, and Joker because I loved playing around with makeup. It would be amazing to find a partner I could do this with, I miss it so much.

Currently trying to find someone (preferably local or in the tri-state area) that I like enough to let them steal my geeky hoodies or t-shirts. I don't mind distance for the right person (I have a good amount of vacation time to take trips) but it can be tough and not really my ideal situation at this point.

I consider myself demisexual (I usually take things slow and only feel attraction after a friendship bond is formed). My preferences and attractions for a romantic partner can be all over the place sometimes so idk feel free to shoot your shot, though nerds and geeks are probably easier for me to relate with. I have a preference for a M4F relationship but I'm also open to M4T as well. I'm also a switch and I'm very interested in the r/rolereversal dynamic.
