Hey, I’m looking for someone to try out new dessert / tea / boba places, restaurants, etc, with. I’m also interested in trying out good cocktail bars if you drink and are interested in cocktails.
Personality wise, I’m more on the reserved and quiet side. I don’t usually share that much about myself unless it’s prompted by someone else. I treat other people as if they have a similar personality type to me, so I try to give space to other people to talk and enjoy showing an interest in people’s lives and learning about how people think and go about their lives. I’m looking for someone who is similar or who enjoys getting to know and learning more about people.
Lookswise, I put some effort in the way I look and dress and try to stay fit.
Usually being a young professional and coming from an Asian American background means there is a good amount of commonality, so there probably doesn’t need to be much of an overlap in interests or hobbies. There’s usually many generically relatable topics to talk about with people from a similar background.
Most of the posts in this sub are for dating, so I’ll say that I’m not firmly looking for something dating related. New friends are welcome. I’m mainly looking for some company to do something I enjoy and already wanted to do (try out new restaurants). It’s a plus to share the experience with someone and to have someone to share food with to be able to try out more dishes.
