Hey all! Hope your weekend went well! I just turned 28, and not getting younger, as my hairline keeps telling me. I've dubbed it the Nintendo 6-forehead.

Thought I'd try here because sending that first message on a dating app and getting ghosted is chipping away at my heart 💔.

A little about me:

I'm rocking a classic dad bod, but working hard to lose it (sorry dad bod lovers ♥️). Down ~7lbs since about a month and a half ago! Rocking a solid 168 lbs. Working towards 155lbs though!

I live in the NJ, but I'm a 30 minute bus ride to Port Authority.

I'm definitely a man of comfort, so I never really went out of my way to do fun things or meet new people, being content with where I'm at. Which kind of explains the single status; that plus me being probably the most awkward person ever. Eventually I do open up, it just takes me a while, then you get to see the playful awkwardness instead of just the normal awkwardness.

I've been trying to do some new things! Tried shooting the first time. Got myself some bowling shoes, pickleball rackets, and been going out to eat more! It's been fun! So if you wanna try some new things, hit me up! Maybe we could go axe throwing, archery, the world is our oyster.

I love to cook. I'm definitely not a professional chef by any means, but I love trying new recipes. I haven't burned down any houses yet, so that's got to mean something! Made some sous vide steak this weekend!

Though I've been going out a bit more, I still am a nerd at heart. If you're looking for a classic nerdy and awkward introverted gamer, look no further! I'm into all things nerdy, like video games, TV, anime, reading, D&D, etc. A chill night in with some food, games or a movie is always a vibe.

I recently started the Wheel of Time series, and will probably get to reading it at some point. Brandon Sanderson is one of my favorite authors!

I don't mind if you're not into the same things as I am, but I am a nerd at heart. So I'm looking for someone who understands that and doesn't mind me binging a new game or preferring a night in. But, having said that I also want someone to drag me out of my shell and experience some new things! And I want to cook for someone! Cooking for my brother is getting a bit stale. So, I would prefer to meet someone in my area!

I also did want to mention, I haven't really been in a relationship yet.
