Hope you guys have a good weekend!

Been hit by the fact that I'm single and 27, and have not been in a relationship before. Thought I'd try out something new, to avoid the horror that is dating apps, especially for someone who is as awkward as me.

A little about me: I'm Asian American, 27 years old, 5'8", and have a classic dad bod, which I can't use the pandemic as an excuse anymore 😅. I work as an engineer in NJ, but I'm pretty close to NYC!

I've started to run more and have been trying to get back into rock climbing, and be more consistent about fitness and health. Caring degrees of success there lol

Whenever I get around to grocery shopping, I love to cook! I love eating foods with a ton of flavour, the newest recipe that I've made is Jamaican Oxtail. Each bite was like a flavor explosion 🤤

Personality wise - I'm definitely on the shy and awkward side. But after you get to know me, I definitely am more talkative and outgoing. If you can convince me to leave the comfort of my home, I'll have a great time. Get some drinks in me, and I'll be the one to drag you to the dance floor with with my terrible moves 🕺.

As for hobbies besides cooking and rock climbing, I love playing video games. I've played about every type of games you can think of. But I'm usually lean towards harder games or multiplayer games, like the Dark Souls series, or TFT / League. Other than that, I'm into all other things nerdy, like manga, reading, D&D, etc. I'm also a huge fan of fantasy, especially Brandon Sanderson!

What I'm looking for:

I don't mind if you're not into the same things as I am, but I am a nerd and introvert at heart. I'm definitely looking for someone to push me out of my comfort zone, but also like a night in to play games or watch something.
