Hey, not sure what to expect posting on this sub, but I wanted to give it a try because I’m hoping to find a genuine connection with people who are also interested in having meaningful, two-way conversations. I’ve had a few really great interactions on the Toronto Hangout Friends sub, but for the most part I’ve also come across some low-effort posts where it felt more like a one-sided conversation. I’m really looking to connect with people who wants to get to know each other and is willing to put in the effort from both sides. Just to clarify, I’m not looking for anything beyond friendship, just looking for more then one sided conversations I guess.
I’m a pretty direct person and clear-cut on a lot of things, mainly because I value honesty and want to make sure time isn’t wasted. If we’re not on the same wavelength, I’d rather know early on, so we can both move forward without any misunderstandings.
First ill say first that im from Scarborough, I’m open to connecting with people from different areas of the city, up to a certain point as well due to distance (Downtown/North York/Richmond Hill/Markham is okay for me, if your going to ask).
Just at a point given the stage of life that im in where i'm trying to meet new people build positive and meaningful friendships/connections. .
In terms of interests:

Would definitely be open to trying out a new sport/group activity like that.
- Hiking: I enjoy exploring new areas of the city/going out for walks on trails/hiking when I can in the east end (well when the weather is good).
- Gym: Trying to be more active recently and get into a regular routine and cut some weight. Have a Planet Fitness Membership after they got a bunch of new equipment, making it worthwhile now. Would be great to have a gym buddy/friend to go with
