Hello everyone! So as it’s stated in the title, it’s been a long time since I posted in a subreddit like this (despite mostly being single), so I thought I would give it a try again at least more local this time. I say new ish to the area again as I went to high school and partly grew up in Mississauga but I now live in Vaughan region So a bit about me I am currently a York U for grad students. I am in interdisciplinary studies program which is the extreme type of choose your own adventure type of program. I am currently wanting to study animal assisted therapy practices (with dogs specifically) and the implications for therapeutic settings. I am doing this because one day eventually I will hopefully become a professional therapist using animal assisted practices.

More about me is I enjoy playing board games, I have one dog and two cats that all love to drive me nuts but I do love them. So an animal lover is very much highly recommended as my pets mean everything to me. I tend too be shy and reserve at times or I can depending on the context but be more chatty however that’s usually a sign of my anxiety 😅. I don’t mind adventuring or having new experiences with local or nearby places but I will say I am not huge traveller just a forewarning. I am very much of a homebody.

I am(and have been told) the type of person who is tries to spread kindness, empathy, and more of the good type of feelings and I would like someone who is similar. I am pretty introverted who can enjoy their alone time but as more of a true introvert, I enjoy spending people who I don’t drain my social battery through spending quality time together and doing activities both in and out of the home. I would say quality time and physical touch are fairly tied for my love languages. I enjoy cuddling and kisses, however I am definitely not looking for a FWB or hook up type of thing. I am more of a relationship/serious type of relationship of person.

I am a mixed racial person (Asian/white), roughly 5’4-5”, I think I am now around 240ish but losing weight as that’s been happen now for a bit. I am willing to exchange photos later once we start chatting.

You are: Roughly in your later 20s- early 30s, you can either be in a career or in school, looking for more of a relationship than just a short term thing, kind and compassionate person who is understanding of how life can be complicated and complex (ideally willing to discuss about all of that too!), to some degree a forever life learned type of mindset which doesn’t mean you have had to go through a lot of schooling but more open mindset.
