Hello, I'm a 29M who lives close to the North York/Scarborough Border that is a bit burnt out by the Toronto internet dating scene and looking to give this subreddit a real first attempt. So, to start off, I'm looking for a solid friendship, I am of the mindset that a good relationship starts with really getting to know one another and going from there. I want to start things very slowly at first, I want to genuinely get to know one another and proceed from there. There is zero pressure for anything, but the only thing I do ask for is for is contact to see how we are doing. If nothing pans out romantically, I'm also down to become friends as well if we both agree to.

With that all said a bit about myself.
*I'm a very outgoing person, I am a extrovert most of the time, do have moments where I kind of shut down but I'm also a very high energy person. * I personally like to take things as easily as I can and am a very fun and playful person to be around. * i am a big time nerd that loves video games * I love reading in general, I rotate between manga to reading biographies. * I am very big into music (I used to drum, I can play basic stuff on guitar and bass and am an ok singer,) * Big time Blue Jays fan that also follows baseball as a whole * I like having talks that engage in philosophy and psychology I think they are key to getting to truly know one another * I also like talk about story building in general and would love to get into discovery of literature (I have aspirations to write stuff on my free time). * Lastly, in the last year I've been trying to start nature walks when I have the time, Im looking to potentially expand from there and get more into exerciae in general.

So yeah I'm a big nerd with lots of hobbies (and surprisingly more lol). Since you are also dying to now my physical stats, I'm a 6ft tall mixed race guy, overweight but I've lost alot of weight over the last half a year.

What I bring to the table, I am a very emotionally intelligent person that is very good at reading emotions, I am not afraid to be affectionate at all, I am a very supportive and loyal person, I am a great communicator and I'm also a very transparent person in that regard. I should also note to get it fully all out there in the open that: I do not drive (maybe in the future), I am fairly straight edge (if you don't know, that's a punk rock lingo for no drugs,*** or alcohol, I'm a ver casual social drinker and maybe a little bit of 420 at most), and I am beginning putting myself on the track to a career path, if you are looking for someone with a steady career that is not me at this point (this is the main reason I don't want to commit to a relationship quickly.)

Lastly to add, the only things I want from a potential partner is: Someone who is supportive, someone who is accepting of or willing to engage with my interests (we aren't going to like all of the same things that is 100% alright) someone who is communicative about any potential problems that may arise and someone who also wants to do fun stuff in or around the city. I promise to do all of the above. Also, I do not care about what you are physically as long as you are truthful about it. Lastly, please be single and be emotionally available to start a friendship.
