Hello,
I would like to connect with Buddhists on this forum. I am a new convert but have not yet taken the refuge because of there is no ceremony available. I take refuge as a daily ritual but from what I have read on the subject, the ceremony needs to be formal. I have also visited two temples not too far away from where I live; but, both of them were unable to provide any guidance for beginners such as when entering the temple what's the expected process (say prayer, bow, etc.), and things along those lines.
Therefore, I would like to connect with individuals of any gender who may be practitioners to help me guide, and for me to also get a sense of community.
