After my failed PhD in online dating, I now have the experience and wounds but no degree to show for it lol

So here goes my attempt at finding a connection based on a lot more words than an app allows. This is my first post of this kind so please be gentle - I’ll try to keep it to the point.

What I offer: kind, respectful, intelligent, know what I want and am determined and hard working enough to go after it, funny (and will laugh at my own jokes hehe), cultured, supportive, passionate, open minded, hopeless romantic, extroverted and chatty but need alone time as well

What I offer but you may not like (work in progress): over-thinker, hyper-independent, reciprocal - I will meet you where you meet me - both in good and bad things, guard is usually up - I’m a tough cookie because life happens but also all mush when with a safe and loving person

Mindset: I want to build a life with someone, the goal is a connection that hopefully leads somewhere. I am not in any rush but I do believe in putting efforts towards your goals.

What I’m hoping you offer: Secure/confident (don’t need to put others down to feel better about yourself and don’t talk in absolutes because you understand your experiences are unique to you and not necessarily all shared by others), sorted/self-aware (know who you are, what you want, where you’re going in life), strong-willed, open-minded, witty/funny, clean, patient, practical, adaptable, kind and considerate

Us aka what a relationship I thrive in looks like: desire and effort towards building a life together, respect, trust and support, lots of affection (sexual and otherwise), strong/clear/honest communication, prioritize each other, us vs problem and a growth/forward looking mindset, lots of travel, food and exploration, social and value time with family and friends just as much as a cozy night in

Physically, I am 5’7, curvy (overweight but somewhat proportionate looking I suppose), POC, curly hair, glasses, and what others call a beautiful smile :)

I am open to all races and would prefer someone around my age and also with regular working hours since IRL meetups are important to me.
