I'm looking for a potential in real life friend who lives in or around Toronto. I'd love someone to go on adventures with. Explore, attend events, do activities together, and go to restaurants together. I'm also looking for someone that can show support for each other and count on one another. As of right now, everything I do(IRL), I do alone. I'd like to explore Southern Ontario via cycling and GO Train, perhaps you could join me on this adventure?

A little about me:

• I have been vegan for over 15 years.
• I don't drink, use drugs and smoke anything.
• I exercise a lot and looking forward to cycling again. (Health is very important to me.)
• I value life and am anti-violence. I don't understand the infatuation with seeing people beat each other up.
• I crochet, but I haven't lately and have a couple of projects that are just sitting there. I could crochet you a little heart!
• Learning guitar and trying to read routinely.
• I view myself as a leftist/progressive (including geopolitically).
• I'm 6'3 and weigh about 170 lbs. I also have long messy hair.
• My background is Guyana. (Meaning that that my skin isn't white for you racists)
• I play Apex Legends too much(LETS PLAY TOGETHER!). It's the only game I really play. Hahah.
• I listen to Neoclassical(epic music), some Synthwave, OSTs of movies/tv shows, Metal. Concerts are fun! (Pirates of the Caribbean, May 17th; Hanabie, May 19th; The Amity Affliction, May 21st; ERRA, May 29th)
• I have social anxiety issues and was diagnosed with bipolar 2 when I was 21, but I'm fairly certain that I don't have that. Oh, lovely trauma. I'm currently speaking with a therapist, which has been...Tumultuous? The "healing" process is a difficult one. I view myself as neurodivergent.
• I'm open, honest, kind, gentle, patient and affectionate. In other words, I'm amazing ;) However,
• I'm very sensitive and fragile (be kind and gentle with me! hahah). I don't do well with abrasiveness. If you're mean to me, I might begin to withdraw and become very quiet. I'm a very forgiving person though and don't hold grudges.

What I'm not looking for:

• A girlfriend/bestfriend. This isn't the purpose of this post, but I'm not opposed to it either. Whatever happens, happens.
• Group meet ups. I have a very difficult time being around groups and I tend to shut down.
• Someone to save me. If you can't accept me, for me, I'm not for you.
• Someone with attachment issues. I don't mean to sound ableist, but if you have a history of avoidance/running away, I'm not for you. However, if this is something you're working on, we can make things work as I'm a work in progress myself.

There's more I can say, but I think these are important and I would prefer that we get to know each other over a call and in person. I super look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!

I do have some boundaries though:

• We will not discuss politics unless you are anti-NATO, anti-imperialist. Essentially you don't have a colonial mindset and support self determination.
• Please don't bring up your love for meat (or food in general). Veganism will not be brought up unless you're sincerely open to becoming one yourself.
• Please don't ask me about work or school. When I'm comfortable, I can talk to you about those things.
