I like the feeling of being excited to see someone, having something to look forward to, that I want to brag to my friends about maybe even before we’ve met. I’m looking for someone whose idea of a date is far more exciting and has more intention than “grabbing a coffee” or “going for a walk”. You don’t have to be the one to come up with ideas, I love doing it, but you should be game for getting out and about and exploring the city. I like to go to street festivals, independent theatres, pub nights, craft breweries, patios, etc. Bonus points if you’re into beaches and camping since summer is coming!

I love when conversation is able to keep going without those awkward breaks that default you small talk interview questions - getting home after the first date and realizing I have no idea how many siblings you have is awesome. This doesn’t mean I need endless chatter, I enjoy sitting in a comfortable silence with someone just as much.

I melt when there’s an instinctual need to be close to each other all the time. Like, holding hands, or hanging out in the kitchen while the other cooks dinner, sitting on opposite sides of the couch but your leg is outstretched just to be that much closer.

Similar sense of humour Is also huge for me. I love someone who can make me laugh and who laughs at my jokes. Speaking the same pop culture language is a big part of this. Also, commitment to the bit.

All this sounds so relationshipy - but these are things I’ve enjoyed with casual flings, ongoing FWBs, and whatever else you wanna label it as, and that’s still what I’m looking for. I’m not trying to find the one and settle down, so things like, life goals, family plans, and bigger picture stuff don’t really matter to me at this juncture. I have no desire to meet your family and you’ll never meet mine. What matters is fun, comfort, attraction, silliness, snuggles, and great sex.
