i was also really hoping to see you before my surgery this week.

a week ago, i wasn’t sleeping well and i sent you a message at 5.30 am that i thought was innocuous. it upset you and i’m not sure why, but i did (and do) apologise. a day later you were gone, even though we had previously promised to give the other a heads up if we were going to cut off contact.
