So i spent my younger years being the ugly duckling and making friends with people that were just not my type of people once I grew out of my awkward stages (and hell those lasted way into my 20s). I feel like alot of the people i associated with stayed as they were and they were withdrawn, not outdoorsy or enjoyed fashion, live gigs, clubs and art as much as I have come to and i am looking for people who like to experience more to life.
I've tried bringing my old friends into my world but imagine someone sitting in the back of a concert after you got front row mosh pit tickets to one of the biggest US bands ever or never being able to go out for a girls night at the club because they would rather game till 3am...every night.
I have nothing against that sort of lifestyle but thats not who ive come to be and i want to find people that i can bond over things with besides what life used to be like when i was a big old nerd (i do still have my nerdy ways though!).
If i find a man, great, but i dont want to push it if its not there. Primarily I am looking for long term friends who enjoy casual chats, maybe enjoy the arts, would like to go to galleries, fun nights out, trying weird and new interesting foods! I do enjoy gaming (ACNH and some RPGs) but this isnt a big part of my life so dont expect me to religiously be online for it. I have been a photographer for events but still enjoy taking snaps and moreso i enjoy what im constantly mastering in photoshop wizardry (especially as its a big part of my work). I love the beach, swimming and I do have an artsy streak, like to draw but this is more of a 'me time' thing. I think outdoor shoes are for outdoors, saunas are the best, i like to nightcap to true crime and ofcourse i have a cat.
Any takers for a friend? I have great timing during complete lockdown, i know.
