Hey lovely people, posting again in search of good, mature company to have good chats with a sprinkle of serendipity.

Male 40ish, 5’9” with an average dad bod, mild tan skin, shaved head, a kind face with a happy go lucky view to life. I live alone in a city apartment and am clean and sensible in my personal life.

My work is exciting, fairly busy and I love the high pace and high stakes nature of it all. Being busy is my way of escaping the boredom and melancholy that comes from living alone, and hey it works most of the time. In my personal time I generally catch up with colleagues over meals and drinks or just chill at home cooking and watching television with the time I have. Philosophy, religion and human behaviour interest me and intelligence and wit excite me. Being fairly direct works best with me when it comes to communication.

I am not short on friends, but there is always a level of reservedness with work friends and in the end all of it gets a tad lonely..! What I really lack is friends outside of work. So I am looking to meet interesting people that may be interested in enjoying exploring restaurants and pubs together, catching an occasional movie or binge on tv all weekend. Or simply go for a drive have a picnic, read a book, have a nap to recover from mild hangover from the night prior and enjoy just a chilled day out.

I am attached but living alone in Sydney. My preference would be to meet someone single or attached in the 30-50 age group. People in Relationships know that they are not perfect and inherently complex, but people not in one want them.! as a poet once said ‘we look before and after and pine for what is not.!’ 😄 anyway, it would be awesome if you are a professional as well, since people and their professions intrigue me and there is always something new to learn. 😊

I have a fairly balanced head over my shoulders and I hope you do the same. I may come across as slightly socially awkward, a bit reserved at first but always genuine and funny when I open up.
