So I met a guy on Reddit a few years ago who saw one of these posts, and now we're best friends in a long-term relationship. But it's got me thinking - there must be more cool people on here who also share similar interests and would be great to have as friends, right?

I love to travel and average out at one trip every other month. I've had my beach bumming trips for the year already but still have a couple more sight-seeing trips lined up. I'm also very keen to check out Japan again next year after my first visit last year, and there's still loads of places there I want to check out including the Mt. Fuji area and Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios.

Other things that interest me besides travelling include:

• hikes to hidden swim holes - I have a list of places lined up that I'd like to check out at some point
• hanging out at the nude beach (strictly platonic) and trashy nude photo ops while there or on hikes or at other appropriate places
• cycling; I have a nice bike that never gets used
• photography; I also have a nice camera, which gets more use than the bicycle, but would love more opportunities to get better using it
• sci-fi - I'm waiting for the new seasons of For All Mankind, Severance, and Star Trek to be released
• gaming; I love JRPGs in particular and I'm currently playing my way through Chrono Cross while waiting for the next chapter of the Final Fantasy VII Remake to be released on Steam

I don't drink or smoke, and much prefer high-quality one-on-one connections than big group gatherings. It would be great to hear from you if something here has piqued your interest, and I'm keen to transition to WhatsApp or Messenger if we do get on.
