Hey there, I'm in my late 30s and I'm an only child living in Sydney. I've never been married and don't have any kids. Most of my friends have drifted away over the years due to being busy with family commitments. I live in a very "family friendly" part of Sydney which is useless for my social life, and I don't have any friends or relatives close by.
I would love to meet other "onlies" who feel that same craving for belonging and human connection. I always feel like I'm on the periphery of other people's lives. It would be nice to be the co-star instead of a paid extra for once.
I am looking for people I can hang out with regularly and who can give and receive emotional support like surrogate siblings would.
