Hello everyone - I'm snuggled up in the blankets with a cold today trying to take it easy and thought I would try reaching out again for connections.

I'm a Washington girl originally, but moved back recently after some time away. I am living somewhat remotely and would love to make friends out near me, but also travel a fair amount around western WA.

I'm open to all kinds of local connections - I would love the most finding someone who I can just hang with and be copresent. I am open to romantic connections with all kinds of people, but not necessarily looking for that. I am looking primarily for local people who are interested in hanging out in the real world, however. I have enough long distance friendships to last a girl a lifetime.

I'm a very direct and kind person. I'm fat and confident. I'm progressive and always working to be the kind of person I can feel proud of being. My life is a bit at odds, and I struggle with depression, but I've also been in therapy for years and cope relatively well. I'm curious rather than judgmental, and love uniqueness in people. I don't fit well into many categories well. I'm nerdy but extraverted and outdoorsy. I was raised working class and have gone to grad school. I feel like I don't fit well into many boxes - and that makes it hard to connect with folks.

I've met some amazing people on Reddit who are still in my life. I'm hoping to connect with people between the ages of 30-50, who are progressive and who value difference more than conformity. I also want to meet IRL over a casual beverage sooner rather than later and just see how things go.

I like to take my time getting to know people a bit, so it can take me days or weeks sometimes to answer messages on here. I get overwhelmed trying to get to know a lot of people at the same time and want to give things a chance, so I will answer any genuine attempts to connect, but it may take a while.
